Friday’s men’s hockey semifinal between arch-rivals Canada and the United States (9 p.m. Sochi time, noon Eastern time, 9 a.m. Pacific time) should be the most exciting game of these Winter Games (or at the very least give the U.S. shootout victory over host Russia a run for its money).
Canad plays a very similar style to the Americans, who play a similar high-paced, physical, force check oriented game. These teams delivered a classic in the Vancouver Winter Games gold medal final, so expect the U.S. — who have been dynamic against superior opponents — to be looking for revenge for that crushing 2010 final overtime loss. Also with an added twist that will keep both teams eager for a win. The loser keeps Bieber as seen in the bilboard above.
